With everything else going on in the world, the crisis at the U.S. southern border has taken a backseat in the news cycle. That’s not because anything has changed. In fact, the Joe Biden-created border fiasco is getting worse.

With some potential policy changes looming, it is not going to improve. In fact, it is going to get worse. Even Democrat politicians are worried about what’s ahead. However, the liberal lunatics in charge don’t appear to care in the least.

The Biden administration keeps insisting they are “bracing for another illegal migrant surge.” But they offer no plan or course of action to deal with it. Why would this be? They, like every American paying attention, can see the problem with their own eyes.

Why did Joe Biden end a policy that is a practical tool in helping to reduce these waves of illegal migrant crossings? Title 42 gave border patrol agents a way to refuse entry to any illegal migrant suspected of having COVID-19.

It’s common sense policy, however poorly enforced by the Biden administration. But there’s an even more confusing side to this story. This talk of ending a COVID-related border safeguard comes amid more talk about pandemic restrictions.

Americans are still unable to fly on an airplane without a mask. Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to talk about pandemic restrictions and how they may need to be reactivated. The FDA just approved a fourth vaccine booster.

The science says COVID isn’t done. It’s mild and less dangerous, but not over. This administration has parroted the same old, worn out rhetoric, “follow the science.” But ending Title 42 while leaving other pandemic restrictions in place, they’re contradicting their own policy.

But that’s pretty typical for liberals. Many Democrats are not on board with this possible decision. A bipartisan majority thinks it’s a stupid idea. West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin sent a letter to the White House opposing the removal of Title 42.

Manchin told FOX News, “I think they should reconsider. I sent a letter, and I’m against removing Title 42.” The moderate Democrat also sent a letter to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky.

In his letter to the CDC, Manchin insists that Title 42 should be extended, not ended. He voiced his concern over the overwhelming number of illegal migrant encounters, already setting all-time records.

Manchin said in his letter, “With encounters along our southern border surging and the highly-transmissible Omicron BA.2 subvariant emerging as the dominant strain in the United States, now is not the time to throw caution to the wind.”

He urged both Republicans and Democrats to renew this policy that has been effective since March 2020. In a direct question, Joe Biden said he hadn’t made a decision about Title 42. Apparently, that’s not true. As usual, Biden is lying.

At a recent press briefing, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield said, “Title 42 is a public health directive. It is not an immigration or migration enforcement measure. So, the decision on when to lift Title 42, we defer to the CDC.”

The Wall Street Journal obtained a copy of an order that specifically indicated Title 42 will be rescinded in May. Joe Manchin is not the only Democrat saying this is a bad idea. Arizona Senators, Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly, sent Biden the same message.

Each believes the order needs to be extended. Even the terrible Director of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, believes conditions at the southern border will suffer “if the policy is ended without a plan.”

So why wouldn’t Joe Biden say he’s not going to end Title 42? He does not care about the health or the safety of Americans. The Biden administration’s border policy is one of open borders. It is obvious.

Why else would they reveal concern about a pending wave of illegal migration, but offer no solution? It’s because they do not have one. Likewise, they do not want one. The southern border crisis is a Biden-made crisis. They want it to continue, but Title 42 was standing in their way.
