I’ve never been in the military. The closest thing that I have anyone in my family being in the military is my grandfather who fought in either the Korean War or the Vietnam War.

Growing up I always was told that it was the Korean War, but later on in life I learned that my grandfather was not the most truthful man and would make up things just for the sake of making them up. I actually had a friend when I was younger that would do the same thing. His girlfriend and my girlfriend at that time were best friends and she would have no problem with him hanging out with me, but I remember that he would tell her that he was at his grandmother’s house for some reason.

Anyway, the military used to be an enterprise that everybody used to respect. I watch a lot of old movies and the way that people treated those in the military back then versus how they treat them now is completely different. They were widely respected compared to today. But the key difference between them is that those in the highest positions were more respectable and not pushing this woke crap and softening up the soldiers so that they don’t offend others by calling them the wrong pronoun. This is how to build a military full of sissies. Yep, I said it.

West Point graduates feel the same way and so they issued a letter challenging the leadership of the academy.

Three retired U.S. military officers—LTG Thomas McInerney, USAF; MG Paul Vallely, U.S. Army; and Colonel Andrew O’Meara Jr., U.S. Army—signed a letter authored by “Concerned Graduates of West Point and The Long Gray Line,” protesting against mandatory vaccinations, CRT classes, sanitary conditions, progressive political activism, and other “woke actions,” in the military academy.

“The Long Gray Line” refers to the continuum of graduates United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

“We wanted to challenge the leadership of the Academy and the Defense Dept on their WOKE actions, CRT, Diversity training and the other discrepancies in the Academy. We found it pervasive at the Naval and Air Force Academies so we knew it was directed from the highest levels of our Military Leadership,” Vallely told The Epoch Times.

They argue that they want the military to get back on track to training and leading their Armed Forces to secure our country and protecting our citizens.

The letter, titled “Declaration of Betrayal of West Point And the Long Gray Line,” asks for seven things:

  1. An explanation for the irregularities in the enforcement of the Honor Code.
  2. A justification for the mandatory vaccinations of cadets with the COVID Virus despite widespread adverse reactions to the inoculation, as well as provisions for exceptions for cadets with religious objections.
  3. An explanation for teaching Critical Race Theory at the Academy that constitutes an attack upon the Constitution and our constitutional Republic. This is behavior that constitutes unconstitutional conduct, if not sedition.
  4. An explanation of reported mismanagement of the cadet dining facility resulting in unsanitary conditions, inadequate food prepared for the meal, and food served that was reportedly unfit for consumption.
  5. Political activism on the part of civilian faculty members constituting political activity violating the long-standing policy of the Academy and Army Regulations.
  6. The practice of exclusive reliance upon radical progressive guest speakers to address the Corps of Cadets. This practice results in prejudiced political activism on the part of the Staff and Faculty in violation of Army Regulations.
  7. An explanation for the failure of the Superintendent to respond to correspondence inquiring about problems identified at the Academy.

Thank God that people are fighting back against the socialism and Marxism that is trying to take over this country. Keep fighting!

  • The REAL Patriots of this Country are appalled at the direction the top people responsible for our Military have abandoned our Constitution, history and values. They are pushing this crap that makes sissies while China is teaching calculus to 3 RD graders with a STRONG emphasis on STEM. At this rate with crap like this being emphasized it will take only a few days for China to defeat us. There are 100’s of thousands of dead and disabled veterans who fought to save our Country over the last 200 years that these ignorant buffoon “leaders” are insulting with their CRAP of today. When we had REAL LEADERS in these positions, they understood the purpose of the military. Where is Gen George Patton when we need him or Gen. Douglas McCarthur? The leaders of today could not carry the soiled underwear of these Generals.

  • God bless those in the military and retired military that object to politics in the military, not that the Joint Chiefs will do anything about it but punish those who object to this administration and leadership who caved to or are part of the left. It’s all part of a plot to detroy this country by the the left that has infiltrated our educatonal system and preverted it for the last 30 or more years. We are losing the members of the “greatest generation” to progressives who should be called regressives and history haters, those without common sence.

  • No wonder the Armed Forces are falling way short of their recruitment goals. Word is out about how the leadership is pussyfying the branches and real men and women don’t want to be a part of that.

  • Unfortunately that’s what happens when standards are lowered, incompetent scum are appointed and the USofA is run by Democrats. It’s time to clean house throughout Government.

  • The current Communist Dims are not just wussifying our military, but taking away the independent thinking of our military leaders and it’s permeating the leaders from the top to the bottom. The U.S. military’s ability to think on it’s feet and make spur-of-the-moment decisions in combat situations is what sets the USA’s military leaders apart from those of our enemies who are trained not to deviate from the plan regardless of the situation. What’s going to be next, political officers in every unit to spy on the assigned leaders. That’s what’s been coming since Obama purged the military services of the leaders who didn’t fit his agenda. We can’t take much more of the Communists degrading our young leaders and making non-thinkers out of them. We need new young leaders who can think on their feet and react to whatever situation presents itself, not react like our foriegn counterparts.

    • You fools are so way behind it’s pathetic. The military has been run by the left for decades. The officer corps has been predominantly leftist and political since Vietnam era. The military system is an “ass-kisser’s” paradise. The brightest and the best are always weeded out before they make it too far up the ladder. Ever wonder why it is that our “wars” always seem to drag on and on and on and always ends in a stalemate or loss? 20 years in the middle east and what did we gain? NOTHING!!! Law enforcement is the same way – the cabal has effectively turned both into their thugs who act only on orders.

  • I agree with all except for item 4. The Academy hired a Marine Corps cook and their food is that same that enlisted Marines get, pantywaists.

    • Jeff,
I, too, agree with six of the seven points, yet have my doubts about item 4, as well.
If they’re addressing rats rampant in the galley or roaches in the soup or bread, that’s inexcusable. The Academies are, however, basically colleges. At 75 I’ve yet to know a college student — and I include myself and my children — who’ve been delightied with dining hall food. Tasting different, or bad, is not the same as unfit to eat. After all, nobody cooks like Mom!
As a boot sailor years ago, I ate for the first and only time, green eggs. Didn’t like ’em, but they didn’t kill me.
On all other points, I wholeheartedly salute the courage of the young leaders-in-training and support their stand against the growing effort to turn healthy American oak trees into pansies.
