People who do not necessarily have a favorable opinion of Christianity and Christians who call sin what it is when they see it will frequently accuse them of going against the words that Jesus himself spoke in Matthew 7:1-5.

They will assert that Christians are precluded from passing judgment on other people. However, that’s not at all what the particular passage is saying or even hinting at. Take a look at what the actual passage says:

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

The point of the passage is not that we shouldn’t judge is that we shouldn’t judge hypocritically. We shouldn’t be telling people not to do something like commit adultery when we are actually doing that very thing ourselves. If you are a thief don’t tell people not to steal. That’s the idea.

Liberals have no ability to grasp this concept and are too blind to see the hypocrisy that they exhibit. It sounds so crazy but a Minnesota teachers union actually put into their contract that in the case that layoffs are to occur that white teachers will be laid off first. That is straight up racism. It’s racism and they don’t even see it. Either that or they just completely ignore it and pretend that it doesn’t exist.

A Minneapolis teachers union contract stipulates that white teachers will be laid off or reassigned before “educators of color” in the event Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) needs to reduce staff.

After the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers (MFT) and MPS struck a deal on March 25 to end a 14-day teacher strike, the two sides drew up and ratified a new collective bargaining agreement complete with various proposals.

One of the proposals dealt with “educators of color protections.” The agreement states that if a non-white teacher is subject to excess, MPS must excess a white teacher with the “next least” seniority.

“Starting with the Spring 2023 Budget Tie-Out Cycle, if excessing a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the site, the District shall excess the next least senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population,” the agreement reads.

According to the United Federation of Teachers, “excessing” means “reducing staff in a particular school when there is a reduction in the number of available positions in a title or license area in that school.”

It’s just like I’ve said before, all of this woke liberal garbage is pure racism. Liberals want to stand on their soapbox and denounce white supremacy in all these other racist ideas, yet they are too blind to see the log that is in their own eye.

  • Total bs unless the union members agreed to this. According to the NLRB, you need 50% plus 1 to ratify a CBA. There must have been a lot more minorities than whites to agree to this idiotc proposal.

    • Sadly, too many whites agree to stuff like this because they feel guilty about their supposed “white privilege.” They go along because they are terrified of being called racist.

  • Only from the Dims , of course they can not see it because many read the bible and make up a version which is incorrect or changed to suit the ideology of communism , satanism or the version they desire . They need to shut up for a while and learn about life in general or sit down and think of what is being said and spread around the world . Of course that would involve work and many do not seem to want or able to work like normal beings do .

  • No wonder there is a teacher shortage. Hiring and firing of teachers has become totally racist. I would quit also. What ever became of merit hiring or merit retention? With “progressives” everything is racist. The USA is becoming an unlivable environment due to the racist “democratic socialists.”

  • The insanity of “don’t judge” runs deeper than people realize. Schools in MN fully implemented Obama’s Promise Program years ago. The goal is to ensure kids, especially minority kids, do not acquire police records while attending school. They leave school or graduate with no police record, so they have the “Promise” of a better future.
    Violent kids may be “sent to the office” for a few hours but return to the same classroom. School employees just note that the student was sent to the office, but are prohibited from documenting why. If a student attacks someone with a knife, and the victim requires medical attention, 911 calls are not made on school landlines. Personal cell phones are used. That way there is no record of landline call.

  • There is another profound lesson here. Many of the white public school teachers are social leftists who have brought about this sorry mess. Now that they have served their purpose, they are of no further use to their masters. Therefore, they will now be discarded.

  • If the Teachers think that Bolshevik Weingarten is on their side guess again. Weingarten hasn’t said much on the matter. When it comes to lay-offs it’s supposed to go by seniority. First in, Last out. This contract is racist in itself and should be appealed before the MInn. Supreme Court. If all else fails take it all the way to the Supreme Court. Then again one reaps what they sow. I don’t recall a mass amount of teachers, speaking out against indoctrinating the kids on CRT and Transgenderism. The minute they proposed teaching the kids on such issues, the teachers, should have all walked off the job, throughout the U.S. and they didn’t. Now they expect the public to have sympathy for them, because white teachers are going to be fired first?

    • The racist section on reductions makes the contract void if the Administration / Board ever wants to drop the MFT as the collective bargaining organization.

      Then the teachers will need to decide if they want to continue teaching, keeping their position as a non-union teacher, or stay with the defunct MFT and hope to find an arbitrator willing to hear their contention that the contract be re-negotiated on the Board of Education’s terms to get the now unemployed teachers rehired. Likely with ALL Union Teachers having seniority below/after the Teachers who stayed on under their BOE annual contract rates and terms for the current school year. Though it is unlikely the MFT would stay on as the bargaining organization IF the BOE has any scruples.

  • If white union members voted and agreed to this their fate is well earned. If not, it cannot stand. Meanwhile, those who allow these idiots to run their school boards are getting what they deserve.

  • Is not a legally binding contract element due to its overt Racism.

    If there is not a severability clause in the contract to excise the entire “excess” section, then the entire contract becomes null and void.

    Though if a standard, legally developed contract for services it surely contains severability of sections. Though, very likely, either side could nullify the entire agreement at any time due to this overtly unlawful clause.

    Not a lawyer, but have years of experience writing up these sorts of agreements/contracts. Someone, one side or the other’s legal eagles wanted a contract with an explosively nullifying element or more. Since the Teacher’s representatives are far removed from what is in the teacher’s best interests, that is likely the side that fought to insert such a clause. And the Administration and Board of Education, having “the people’s” best interests in mind would not have bothered to object if they ever want to eliminate the Teacher’s collective bargaining agreement. Just circle this section, hire back the teachers deemed hireable, and post the rest as open. Within a few days, can refill and carry on.

    MFT will need to pound sand until their representatives can explain why they allowed that nullifying section into the contract.

  • How far do you think that will stand up in court? Id say I won’t make it past the first pre-trial conference even if the judge or referee is a balls out NWO Marxist, but I have seen stranger things under “ferm-a tiv” action.
