U.S. Air Force senior airman and triple amputee Brian Kolfage is not just suffering from judicial abuse. He is also suffering from abuse of the handicapped. The USPIS refused to let Kolfage put on his prosthetic limbs but made him crawl to the police car and climb in. Remember, Kolfage has no legs and only one arm.
It is illegal for arresting officers to deny a suspect the use of their glasses. Yet, these 15 brave armed agents of the postal service were adamant. They denied an American hero the use of his wheelchair or prosthetic limbs. He was forced to pull himself inside the car by one arm in the rain in front of his wife and kids. Kolfage called it embarrassing.
AG Bill Barr needs to investigate this raid and those responsible for Kolfage’s treatment must pay, but good. If Kolfage were an illegal alien, imagine what would have been made of this treatment. But a war hero must grin and bear it? This was a national disgrace abut was also a crime according to the Americans Disabilities Act. Let’s stage a raid of their homes using special forces, armed to the teeth.
We have seen the left perpetuate many humiliating raids but this was the worst. Can you even imagine what it was like for Kolfage?
The New York Post reported yesterday on the arrest:
Kolfage claimed the feds sought to humiliate him during his Aug. 20 arrest. He said that morning a squad of United States Postal Inspection Service agents ordered him out of bed and would not allow him to take his prosthetic limbs for the 90-minute drive to a Pensacola courthouse. “How does a person with no legs get into a vehicle that’s not equipped for a wheelchair?” the former Air Force senior airman said. “I had to get on my butt and crawl up into it like a monkey with one arm and in the rain. My kids were watching. It was humiliating.”
None of the USPIS officers tried to help Kolfage. It is likely the raid was pre-planned this way. They went there with that very intention but the one who ordered it should face a judge. But Why did it take 15 USPIS officers to arrest one triple amputee? He was arrested for allegedly swindling donations for the building of the Southern wall which liberals object to. Steve Bannon was also arrested as a co-conspirator.
The reason for the arrests is not quite clear. Money was allegedly used for expenses for them to travel to the construction site.
What is even more unbelievable is that these crazed New York State USPIS officers not only deprived Brian of his wheelchair, they also pointedly denied Brian the use of his prosthetics! Prosthetics are, to a person who uses them every day to get around, akin to the eyeglasses many of us need, day-to-day. so we can see to get around, the hearing aids we use, so we can hear to get along and the canes some of us may need. No difference, all accommodations to a temporary or permanent disability. Yet these NY USPIS officers pointedly deprived Brian of the accommodations he specifically needs to move around day-to-day as person with a disability: his wheelchair and his prosthetics.
They forced this United States’ veteran to crawl. They even all stood by and watched while he crawled. The officers who conducted this arrest, their New York bosses and the U.S. DOJ Southern District of New York (SDNY) attorneys who ordered this arrest in this fashion, should be losing sleep over this incident. More to the point they should have lost their jobs by now.
