Remember when Chuck Schumer was bold enough to say that ever American that wanted out of Afghanistan got out? That was a lie.

Then the story was that there were still 100 left in the country. That was also a lie. Most Americans know that number is not correct and the number is considerably higher.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has come out to say the number is certainly higher than the 100 stated over and over again by the Whitehouse administration.

Blinken now admits the number of abandoned Americans to be much higher, stating that there are at least 5,000 green card holders left in Afghanistan.

From 100 Americans to several thousand Americans, something about these numbers don’t seem to ever add up correctly, and what does several thousand mean anyhow?

Several thousand could mean a greatly varying number and the Biden regime leaves us all guessing.

As usual, the White House takes the time to carefully word their statements, rather than just being honest with Americans. They want the world to think they have evacuated more Americans than they actually have, but all in all, they played a trick with numbers by stating they had rescued over 100,000 people from Afghanistan.

However, in order to reach this number, they included Afghanis and Americans, when the number of Americans was closer to 5,000. The White House really needs to be more clear and transparent with American citizens.

According to PJ Media,

Senator Ben Sasses (R-Neb.) was furious at the admission.

“After lying about this slow-motion hostage crisis for weeks and stonewalling requests for hard numbers, Secretary Blinken just admitted to Congress that ‘several thousand’ American green card holders are still trapped in Afghanistan,” Sasse said in a statement. “This is a national humiliation. Let’s be very clear about this: These men and women are legal permanent residents of the United States. When America gives someone a green card, it’s a promise that their permanent home is here in the United States with us.”

“President Biden abandoned thousands of these American residents behind Taliban lines to fend for themselves,” Sasse continued. “He has a duty to bring every single American citizen and green card holder home. No more happy talk about the blood-thirsty Taliban — get our people home.”
