The topic of whether or not President Trump will run for President in 2024 remains unanswered, at least on our end of the equation.

There have been clues all along, and one in particular just recently, that President Trump may run for re-election.

You may recall that President Trump was caught on camera stating during a game of golf that he is the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, hinting that he would win the next election.

However, during a recent interview, President Trump revealed that there was one thing that would prevent him from running again in 2024.

The only thing that would keep him from running, according to him, is his health.

He claimed that his advisors informed him that because he is now 75 years old, this would be a factor in the future. By the time he is elected president again, he will be 78 years old.

“You always have to talk about health. You look like you’re in good health, but tomorrow, you get a letter from a doctor saying come see me again,” Trump told the Washington Post. ‘That’s not good when they use the word ‘again,’” Trump added, saying he is in good health.

“I don’t want to comment on running, but I think a lot of people are going to be very happy by my decision,” the former president said, adding that if he does run, other prominent Republicans like former Vice President Mike Pence, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo won’t oppose him in a GOP primary.

“If I ran, I can’t imagine they’d want to run. Some out of loyalty would have had a hard time running,” he said in reference to the three. “I think that most of those people, and almost every name you mentioned, is there because of me. In some cases, because I backed them and endorsed them.”

I actually think that Mike Pence would run against President Trump, but who knows. I guess we’ll find out when that time comes, but I would imagine that the field would be much smaller than it was for the 2016 election.
