George W. Bush is being ripped for the way he spoke about Trump supporters and veterans over the weekend during a 9/11 ceremony, which was criticized as offensive by many people on social media.

His speech compared them to Islamic terrorists in that they are fighting against fraud, whether its election-related or not.

“We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within,” Bush said.

“There’s little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home,” he continued.

MSNBC reported,

The former president said domestic and foreign extremists share a “disdain for pluralism,” a “disregard for human life,” and a determination to defile national symbols, appearing to reference the January 6 Capitol riot.

The former president had previously said that the Capitol riot left him “sick to his stomach” and said that he was “still disturbed” for weeks following the insurrection (their words, not mine).

How long are they going to continue to try and push the story that this was an insurrection? This was no insurrection. Again…no weapons. This would have been the worst insurrection attempt in history if that were the case. People aren’t stupid and they have plenty of weapons. We’re one of the most heavily armed countries in the world as far as private citizens owning weapons goes.

Back to Bush…this is the guy who got us into Afghanistan in the first place and the way that he just dragged those veterans who fought for freedom both in Afghanistan and at home by heading to the Capitol to protest is an absolute disgrace.

It really just goes to show you what type of person he is. He’s just the same as Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. He’s a career politician who have proven that he’s just a cog in the machine of corruption.
