After a couple of years of speculation about Prince Andrew’s relationship and involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, the Royal is officially a “person of interest” based on his involvement with the case.

As you know, Epstein is alleged to have operated a child predatory ring…if you can even call it an allegation. In my opinion, there isn’t much doubt about it. The real question for me is who else knew about it and was involved?

Epstein and Prince Andrew were friends and just the mentioning of Prince Andrew being involved with the scandal caused him to go into seclusion.

The phrase “person of interest” is a term used by law enforcement for someone who has not been arrested or formally accused of any crime. It has no legal meaning, but it is understood it can refer to someone who may have information that would assist the investigation, including as a potential witness.

Prosecutors investigating sex trafficking allegations against Epstein and his associates have previously sought Andrew’s cooperation and accused him of repeatedly stonewalling and declining requests to schedule an interview with federal authorities.

The prince’s lawyers have rejected this, stating in June last year: “The Duke of York has on at least three occasions this year offered his assistance as a witness to the US Department of Justice.” They added then that the DOJ had “advised us that the duke is not and has never been a ‘target’ of their criminal investigations into Epstein” and that they had instead sought his confidential, voluntary cooperation.

Brad Edwards, one of the lawyers representing several women who allege to have been abused by Epstein, believes Prince Andrew has information that would benefit his clients.

If you ask me, this means that they’ve found more dirt on Prince Andrew and maybe this is a hint that he needs to come clean. It’s been about two years that they’ve been looking into his involvement, possibly longer and they are now announcing that he just became a person of interest. He’d better come clean and dish the dirt because his time is running short.
