The Left lost its collective mind the split second it was announced that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died. Democrats from coast to coast jumped on their social media account instantly and urgently to sound the alarm. Kamala Harris vowed to block any Trump nominee to replace Ginsburg, showing just how radical she is, and why she and Biden should never come within a hundred yards of the Oval Office.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in agreement that a Ginsburg replacement should not be done until after the election.  The argument is that the American people should decide.  Well, the American people actually did decide by electing Donald Trump as president and the US Senate to be controlled by the same party, the Republican Party.  Since the president is still in office, ditto for the Senate, the American people decided who should nominate Supreme Court Justices.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made that point clear a long time before Justice Ginsburg passed away, and it seems to be lost on liberals.  If the party that controls the Senate is different from the president’s party, then people should decide in the next election, during an election year.  It means the country was split enough to say an election should determine who gets on the court in an election year.

However, the Constitution still says the president has the power to nominate and the Senate has the Advice and Consent power because the American people chose them to have those powers.

In this scenario where the Republicans have the White House and the Senate, President Donald Trump should move swiftly to get his third justice onto the High Court before the end of his term.  It’s very doable if he acts very soon.  He owes it to the American people who voted for Republicans to make and confirm judicial appointments.

Say what you about McConnell, he is the man you want leading the Senate today, because he’s a master at working the system to get Trump’s nominees through, and McConnell has already said that whoever Trump’s nominee is will get a vote in the Senate.

McConnell argued on Friday that the Republican-controlled Senate could confirm a Republican president’s nominee without facing charges of hypocrisy.

“Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year,” McConnell said.

“By contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary. Once again, we will keep our promise. President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”

The calls for violence have already begun.  McConnell had his home address already doxxed on Twitter so that raging leftists can go protest, assault people and/or set fire to the house, and I’m sure Jack Dorsey will do absolutely nothing about it.  Fortunately, the Senate Majority Leader wasn’t home at the time.

Though Trump has added more names to his list of potential judicial nominees,  that he first provided back in 2016, prior to Ginsburg’s death, Joe Biden has yet to do so, because the Democrats more-than-likely don’t want the American people to know who the radical leftist, anti-American, Constitution-hating folks are on such a list.

Among the cries and screams, temper tantrums and bed wetting from the Left, does anyone reading this honestly believe that the Democrats would hold off putting up a nominee?  Barack Obama did that with Merrick Garland when the Republicans were in the majority of the Senate, and we know that that party does everything and anything to get their way, screw precedence and tradition.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told McConnell back in 2016 on Twitter about the Garland nomination that they should do their job.

“Attn GOP: Senate has confirmed 17 #SCOTUS justices in presidential election years. #DoYourJob

Now we have the truly demented.  I say that, because I don’t believe a word of what came next.

Ginsburg’s granddaughter released a statement where she claims she was present to hear Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish that she didn’t want to be replaced until after the new president is in office.   I say I don’t believe a word of it, because people who are dying with their loved ones surround them, don’t think about political things at a time like that.  Yes, Ginsburg was a radical leftist activist on the court, with a horrible voting record, but she would have to be a political animal to say such a thing at that moment, and I just don’t buy it.  I can’t bring myself to believe that she politicized the Supreme Court on her deathbed, and I don’t want to remember her that way.

However, you just know that the Democrats and their boot-licking sycophants in the mainstream news media, are going to use this lie as a cudgel to smash the chances another Trump nominee gets on the Court.

Ed Whelan, president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center and writer for National Review Online believes there is plenty of time for Trump to get a nomination confirmed.

Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris is on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and she should recuse herself, mostly because she’s on a ticket running to beat Trump, so there’s even more normal reason to not expect any partiality during Advice and Consent, but let’s also not forget how shamefully disgusting she conducted herself during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing.

Saturday morning, Harris posted a new tweet that speaks volumes for how serious this election is, including this next Supreme Court nomination.

“Justice Ginsburg was a titan—a relentless defender of justice and a legal mind for the ages. The stakes of this election couldn’t be higher. Millions of Americans are counting on us to win and protect the Supreme Court—for their health, for their families, and for their rights.”

Democrats and leftists alike are threatening violence if Trump puts forth a nomination to replace Ginsburg, but the American people are numb to such threats after spending the entire summer with nightly riots, including destruction of property, looting, violence and murder.

Here’s what I would consider a terrorist tweet from a former CNN host as the justice’s body was still warm.

“If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire fucking thing down.”

Talk show host Tim Young summed up the tweeter pretty succinctly.

“This he/him would cry so hard if he/him were to be arrested for inciting violence.”

It’s going to be interesting folks, but just remember that everything the GOP Senate and the Trump White House will do is 100 percent Constitutional, legitimate, and vitally necessary to save our republic from the radical leftists.
