Hopefully this not too little too late, but on Friday, Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp called for the state’s top election official, the Secretary of State (SOS) Brad Raffensperger, to order an audit of signatures on mail-in ballot envelopes.
The recount we just witnessed was done through an unconstitutional deal Raffensperger made with the seriously warped lunatic Stacey Abrams, who still believes she is the legal governor of Georgia.
The problem with the deal Raffensperger made was that the mail-in ballot signatures would be matched up to the mail-in ballot application instead of the signature on file from when the voter registered to vote, or a current drivers license. The recount we just witnessed included matching ballot signatures with the original forgers.
Tens of thousands of dead people and people who moved out of the state are still registered on Georgia’s voter rolls, because every time the Republicans want purge them, Stacey Abrams and company scream VOTER SUPPRESSION! as if state Republican officials are trying to remove voting black people from the rolls.
Kemp made his comments during a press conference where he insinuated that he would sign off on the certification of the results of the election only after the Georgia conducted a risk-limiting audit of the election which showed Joe Biden ahead of President Donald Trump by 12,284 votes. There are more people on the voter rolls than that who should no longer be on them.
“It’s important to note that this audit only looked at ballots, not the signatures of the absentee applications or the signatures on the ballot envelopes,” Kemp said, adding that wants the SOS to address the many concerns about the signatures.
“It seems simple enough to conduct a sample audit of signatures on the absentee ballot envelopes and compare those to the signatures on applications and on file at the secretary of state’s office.” The question here is, what does “applications on file at the SOS office” mean? Does it mean the applications for a mail-in ballot or the voter registration application?
The future of our country literally depends on the answer to that question. I cannot stress it enough that it is vital that they do not use the mail-in ballot applications to match signatures to the mail-in ballots. This is especially crucial when counting the senate runoff elections.
The risk-limiting audit, or hand recount, uncovered thousands of uncounted votes in 4 counties. Over a dozen witnesses of the recount signed sworn affidavits, upon penalty of perjury, swearing that they witnessed errors and potential fraud, together with Trump votes which had been counted for Biden and suspicious batches of pristine ballots came in, without and folds in the paper, which is an impossibility, and uniformly filled absentee ballots with the exact same circle fill. Occam’s Razor would dictate that they were Xerox copies slipped into the ballots to be counted. These batches were overwhelmingly votes for Biden. It was reported that auditors detected over 500 pristine ballots in a row for Joe Biden. Nothing to see there, right?
The Trump campaign repeatedly complained about the risk-limiting audit being utterly worthless unless they examine the signatures on the mail-in ballot envelopes.
“The Governor of Georgia, and Secretary of State, refuse to let us look at signatures which would expose hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots, and give the Republican Party and me, David Perdue, and perhaps Kelly Loeffler, a BIG VICTORY,” the president wrote on Twitter on Nov. 20. “Why won’t they do it, and why are they so fast to certify a meaningless tally?”
On Friday, Kemp said that by certifying the election results, now the Trump campaign can demand a recount and try other paths. According to Georgia law, they couldn’t do that prior to certification.
