CNN/s Jake Tapper is denying it, but he is being accused of interfering in the 2020 election. He is accused of trying to get Sean Parnell to run in a different district.

Tapper allegedly tried to convince Parnell not to run against Conor Lamb. Lamb holds a House seat in a Republican district. He holds one of the seats Republicans need to pick up in order to retake the House.

Tapper contacted Richard Grenell and denied the story. But, if the story is true, Tapper should be fired. He works for CNN, so that won’t happen. Lying and cheating is CNN’s motto.

They can’t punish anyone for toeing the company line. Especially when it comes time to rig an election for Democrats. That would be hypocritical.

The question is if this is true, did he try to interfere in any other districts? Or is this just a one-off? Tapper has always tried to claim to be an unbiased reporter.

But if that were true, CNN would not have hired him. And from his reporting, it is obvious this depiction is not true.

So how many other districts has @jaketapper pulled this crap with? Why is CNN meddling in House swing races? This is absurd. #PA17 https://t.co/q4SF6vRMV4 — NRCC (@NRCC) September 7, 2020

Sources close to Parnell’s campaign says that Tapper communicated with Parnell in various ways. Tapper allegedly communicated with Parnell through text messages, direct messages on Twitter to Parnell’s account, and phone calls. He attempted to get Parnell to run in another race and to allow Lamb to take on a much weaker opponent.

Breitbart News broke the story based on several sources. Since the original story posted, Breitbart has found eight more sources backing up the story.

They are standing by their story. Lamb is very vulnerable and Parnell is the toughest opponent he could have faced. Therefore convincing Parnell not to run against him is an effort to aid the Democrats.  Would anyone at CNN do that? Uh-huh.

From Breitbart News

What’s more, this district is one of 30 such House districts that President Donald Trump won in 2016 that are currently represented by Democrats. If the GOP flips just a net 17 seats from Democrat control back into Republican hands, they win back the majority and retire House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once and for all. In addition to these 30 Trump-won Democrat-controlled districts, Republicans say they are confident in another dozen or so seats where they have better chances than the conditions in southern California where now-Rep. Mike Garcia (R-CA) won a special election this year to replace the disgraced former Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA), who resigned amid a sex scandal with staffers in her office.

This district could also make the difference between whether Trump or Democrat presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden wins the all-important state of Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes. Now that it has a competitive congressional race, it could help drive support to Trump by turning out the GOP vote in the hard-fought down-ticket race.

I will be campaigning with @SeanParnellUSA in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania in just a few hours. I will be asking if this is true. If true, @cnn must deal with @jaketapper very firmly. Political activism from the media is unacceptable! https://t.co/nYCKvPc5LX — Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) September 6, 2020

The anonymous sources should step forward and make their accusations public. Get this entire mess out into the open, so that we learn the truth and can act accordingly. Just don’t expect Tapper to be fired regardless of where the evidence takes us. CNN just doesn’t put a lot of stock in the truth.
